Hobbies/Interests: I love anything outdoors - running, biking, hockey, snowboarding, football, kayaking, canoeing (Minnesota is land of 10,000 lakes), camping, spending time with my wife, reading sci-fi, movies, video games, techy things - building comps, etc. Soon it'll include spending time with my son (Rachel's due in November)!

Favorite place in Chicago: I am new, but so far Wrigley Field. I hear there's a hockey classic there in the winter.

Favorite summertime activity: Heading into the BWCA (Boundary Waters Canoe Area) in Northern Minnesota along the Canadian border and canoeing or kayaking into the wilderness, out of touch with civilization.
