Saints Mary and Elizabeth Hosts Dazzling Girls’ Night Out on Oct. 25

Event will feature fashion, fun, screenings, health info and more

Chicago, Ill. – September 13, 2012 – Saints Mary and Elizabeth Medical Center (SMEMC) is hosting a fashion-forward, fun and dazzling Girls’ Night Out from 6 to 9 p.m. on Oct. 25 at Frontier, 1072 N. Milwaukee Ave., Chicago. The evening will celebrate good health and challenge women to make changes that positively impact their lives.

Be dazzling! Girls' Night Out.Girls’ Night Out will feature a fashion show by M.GO Fashion Salon in Chicago, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres and musical entertainment. The evening will include free health screenings, information on breast cancer awareness and other health issues. Hospital staff will conduct free health screenings, including blood pressure, bone-density (DEXA) scans and breast-health risk assessments.

During the evening, guests will have an opportunity to talk with a wide range of specialists from plastic surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, cardiology and family medicine.

“We encourage women in our community to join us for a fun and informative night out with family and friends,” said Margaret McDermott, CEO/executive vice president, SMEMC. “This will be a great opportunity for women to learn more about the ways in which they can improve their health and enjoy a relaxing night.”

Door prizes to be raffled off include Macy's beauty baskets, spa and boutique certificates and other prizes. Admission is $10. Pre-registration is required.
