HFMC In The News - HFMC Patient is Sworn in as American Citizen

On Friday, June 1, 2012, one of our patients, 83 yr old Enriqueta Juarez, was sworn in as an American citizen in the hospital chapel.  She was in the midst of the citizenship process when she became ill and was in a coma for 4 weeks. Enriqueta awakened from her coma in April and has been hospitalized since that time. She expressed her desire to her family to become an American citizen before she died and Holy Family staff worked with her family and Immigration servives to make it happen.
