Richard J. Salzer Named Vice President, Supply Chain, for Resurrection Health Care
Chicago, Ill. (January 11, 2011) – Richard J. Salzer has been named vice president, supply chain, for Resurrection Health Care (RHC).
Salzer will be responsible for the oversight of purchasing, materials management and supply chain for Resurrection. He has nearly 30 years of experience in general management, business development, sales, and marketing responsibilities encompassing healthcare industry product and service businesses.
Most recently, he was the Chief Solutions Officer for ROi, LLC, a division of the Sisters of Mercy Healthcare System in St. Louis, MO and the leading provider-based healthcare supply chain organization in the country. He also served as Vice President, Health Systems, for the healthcare division of Thermofisher Scientific, the world’s largest scientific equipment, supplies and services company, among other roles.
Salzar holds a master’s of management degree from Northwestern University and a bachelor’s of science degree from University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana.
